The Lake

We have always wanted to live on the lake.  I can not even think back and remember a time when it wasn't a dream of ours.  We decided in 2009, after a very rough few years with our oldest son struggling in school, that we were going to move closer to family and to a smaller east Texas town where my Husband's parents live.  It took two years to make the transition, with my husband still working in Fort worth until a job became available locally.  In February of this year, we lucked (and begged and pleaded our way) into a lake front rental home.  I can not even express the sure joy this has been.  Even when the air went out two days before the twins seventh birthday party, the second week of june... It has been a blessing.  So, when you see all those gorgeous Lake pictures and the pictures of my kids with the fishing poles in my header, This is the little note to explain exactly what that is about.  It is the manifestation of our dream.  Life is good here.  My oldest son, who was failing several classes, has been a straight a student now for two grade levels!  My baby Girl starts kindergarten this year, and all my children are learning how to swim.  Its been a wonderful summer!
